These jobs are available for European Union Citizens OnlyClient information: our client has a large number of sites all across the world (approx 50 factories world wide, and 20,000 employees and been established since 1986). The company prepares and packs fruit and salad. You will be employed on a contract for services by Employer and your job will be based in Torre Pacheco or surrounding area. Position: Production Operative at the Salad and Fruit Factory Work Location: Spain, Murcia, TORRE PACHECO Level of English: non or basic JOB DESCRIPTION: cutting, packing, weighing, sorting fruit and salad to the required standardInformation about the factory: has a cold (+ 5C) and wet environments protective equipment is provided to protect workers against this. Factory is clean. PAYMENT STRUCTURE Hourly rate: 5.52. GBP (Bristish Pounds) Please be aware that you will be paid in pounds to your Spanish bank account. This will be converted into Euro at the currency of the day of pay. What are the basic hours per day? Initially there will be a single day shift starting at approx 06:00 until 15:00 - depending on weather and fruit/salad available. This will move to 2 shifts 05:30-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 as the work increases. This may increase or decrease depending on a volume of work. What are the basic hours per week? Approx 40-48 (will depend on the amount of fruit/salad available for processing, which is dependant on the weather)- How long are their breaks? 30 minutes per shift- When are they? 9:30-10:00 on days, 17:30 to 18:00 on afters.- Are they paid? Yes Desired arrival date: will be confirmed but will be roughly on 18th of May, and then every week Arrival place: Torre Pacheco How to get to Torre Pacheco from San Javier airport (Murcia), Alicante? By bus (two companies operate there, you can get more information calling on these phone numbers: bus station 0034 968 585612 or train station 0034 968 578005/968 585335) or taxi, the cost for the taxi service from San Javier will be about €25 per taxi. Finish date: The contract will terminate between end of September and middle of October and thereafter you will need to return to your place of origin. If you walk out of your job you will be dismissed immediately. Please check with supervisor before buying travel ticket home. EQUIPMENT- What clothing will they be required to wear? Hairnets, gloves, boots, overalls.- Is it provided? Yes.- If yes who pays for this (client or Candidate)? Client - but a form will need to be signed on issue to allow Employer to take the cost of any lost or unreturned PPE out of the employees final wage packet, to reimburse the client. Please supply us with your shoe size.What canteen facilities are available? On site canteen with vending machine. What tools are they required using for this position? Knives will be the main tools (client will provide) INDUCTION- Who will induct the candidates? Employer and Client- What Language will the induction be in? English and one of the EU languages.- When and where will it be held? Before you start work there will be half a day, unpaid, where Employer induct you on general Health and safety and food safety. The client will then do a site specific induction, there will then be training in the factory. Following completion of this you will start work the following day. TRANSPORT- Is transport provided by the Employer? Yes- How much ?(Per day per person): approx £6- How will they pay for this? Deducted from wages- What kind of transport? Bus/minibus- What are the various pick up times? Approximately hour before you start your shift.- How long will the travelling take? 3 0minutes ACCOMMODATION: Employer will assist you to source suitable accommodation in a local area. you will be sharing a room with other people in a self catered apartment. Usually are 4 people in apartment (2 people per room). Please note that your accommodation will cost you €55.00 per person per week. There is a £55,00 refundable deposit required which will be deducted from your first wages. Any deposits taken will be refunded one week after the accommodation has been vacated through our weekly payroll, providing there are no damages or cause for reimbursement to the landlord/landlady.The accommodation is not conditional on your working for the Employer, but you must give one month notice of your intention to leave to the Employer representative who is managing your contract Please be aware that you will be charged a minimum of one month's rent as penalty if you don't give the required notice. If you walk out from your job you will be dismissed instantly. This will result in you having to leave your accommodation immediately. How will I be paid? · Employer will pay you every Friday (ie: work l week and get paid for that week · Please be aware that you will be paid in pounds to your Spanish bank account (Employer will help you to open one). This will be converted into Euro at the exchange rate of the day of pay. What will be deducted from my wages? · Your rent will be deducted from your wages every week, always 1 week in arrears. · Your transport to and from work if used by you, will also be deducted from your wages on · Tax and NI (National Insurance ) will be at the current UK rates. · Please note that all Eastern Europeans from the B new accession member states must be registered in Home office (UK) within the first month (legal requirements) therefore £90,or will be deducted for this form from your salary (£30 from your 3rd salary, £30 from your 4th salary, £ 30 from you 5th salary). · Deposit (once) at €5 for clock card. What I need to do next if I’m happy with the offer and conditions above: · To complete a hearth questionnaire attached and send a copy to us · Send a copy of the passport or ID to us · To fill in the Bank form attached and send a copy to us What the next step after r forwarded all the documents above: · Check with us what date you need to arrive in Torre Pacheco · Buy the ticket· Contact us to inform about your arrival time in Torre Pacheco (please be aware that your arrival time can’t be later then 9pm) · We will forward you the letter of confirmation on Employer headed paper with all the essential information on it. What I need to take with me to Spain? · 2 forms of ID ( as one of them will need to be send to Home Office) · Money (Euros) for: food for 3 weeks minimum, travel to Torre pacheco from airport · 2 passport size photos · Completed a health questionnaire · Completed Bank form What will happen as soon as i arrive in Torre pacheco (no rater then 9pm): · 1 hour before your arrival time you will need to call Employer Representative who will meet you and take to your accommodation. What need to be done before I start work for the Employer in Spain: · Sign the temporary work agreement · Sign the accommodation contract · Get an NIE number (numero de indentificacion de Extranjeros). An NIE number is an identification number granted by the Spanish government for foreigners in Spain. you are not allowed to start work without this number for the Spanish company. Employer will do this on your behalf, therefore you will be taken to local labor inspector early one morning (cost for this service will be confirmed) .· open the Bank Account (as non residents people will have to pay €77.42 tax and Bank will automatically deduct this money). Employer will help in that.
