The Municipality provides a range of municipal services to the community and entities of Al Ain.
The Building and Construction Sector EHS Department provides support and guidance to the entities who work in the Construction Sector, to enable them to implement an Environment, Health and Safety Management System (EHSMS). This is in accordance with the guidelines of the Competent Authority (Environment Agency of Abu Dhabi – EAD) and the mission and vision of the Municipality.
We are looking to recruit a Call Centre Operator to provide the Administration Section with the call centre support required to support the running of the Building & Construction EHS Department.
Please note, Only Emirati candidates will be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
- Develop good professional working relationships at all levels in the municipality, and third parties to ensure an effective provision of the call centre function for the B&C S.
- Communicate effectively both internally and externally to create an open effective organization that delivers against the needs of the municipality.
- Language skills – fluent English and Arabic
- Set a personal example to promote a climate for the growth of a positive environment, health and safety conscious culture within Al Ain Municipality and the Field Office Team.
- Provide professional telephone support to the B&C entities.
- Develop scripts to ensure a clear, supportive enquiry process for entities
- Other duties as required

-Degree qualified in a related discipline
-Professional Qualifications would be advantageous
Technical Competencies
- Experience of providing support in an office environment, which must include significant Helpdesk experience.
- Typing skills
- I.T literate
- Proven communication skills and an excellent telephone manner.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and a proactive approach.
- Good record keeper self sufficient, vibrant and a keen team player.
- Motivated to work with the team to progress and improve current procedures.
- Awareness of the construction industry and technical awareness are desirable.
