Pulse International is looking for a Recruitment Manager for a very exciting new project - an all-digital academic medical centre in Doha.
Scheduled to open in 2012, this medical and research centre will offer the latest technology and equipment to meet world-class standards in patient care, medical education and biomedical research. There will be a sophisticated clinical and translational research programme, general adult medical and surgical services and specialty care for women and children. The centre will be a teaching venue for medical students at Weill Cornell Medical College - a branch of the prestigious Ivy League university in New York.
The Recruitment Manager is responsible for the full cycle of recruitment activity for the Medical and Research Centre, both for the current project team and to recruit the staff needed for the opening of the Centre. This includes development, revision and implementation of all related processes, policies and procedures. He/she is also responsible for recruiting, training, managing and directing the activities of all other recruitment personnel and assigned graduate trainees.
Requirements
The post is office-based and there will be some travel requirement related to interviewing, job fairs etc. Flexibility in working hours may be required when dealing with international hiring processes.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent. He/she will have experience and demonstrated ability in all aspects of local and international recruitment including workforce planning, job design, screening, selection, candidate processing and on-boarding, within a healthcare environment. He/she will be an experienced interviewer with excellent English skills and experience in the interpretation and application of local labour regulations and employment law.
